Product Warranty - Shipping - Returns - Privacy - Legal

PRODUCT WARRANTY:

Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc., (the "Company") warrants all new products manufactured and/or marketed by the Company to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal usage and service from the date of purchase as follows:  

Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc. will repair or replace any defective components which the manufacturer deems "defective" associated with returns of said components.  

All replaceable filters or filtration media are not warranted due to varying applications and use conditions.  

Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc. cannot guarantee installation of any product.  The Company cannot be held responsible or liable for any injuries, direct or indirect loss caused by the improper application, installation or use of any product manufactured and/or marketed by Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc.  

This Product Warranty excludes all products or components that, in the opinion of Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc. have been subjected to negligent use, misuse, alteration or damage, or that have been repaired without the authorization from the Company.  

In the event you believe that any product manufactured and/or marketed by Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc. is defective or damaged within the warranty period, please contact us via email at orders@aquatictreatment.com.  

SHIPPING:

United States Orders

  • Shipping charges will be added to all orders within the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska.  If you return the product and a repair or replacement is not possible and a refund is authorized by the Company, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

  • All orders are shipped within two to four business days. In the event that a delay in shipment is anticipated for any reason, the Company will notify you by email of the delay.

  • All orders are shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS).

Canadian Orders

  • Canadian orders are shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS).

International Orders

  • All International orders are subject to additional shipping fees. If you have any questions or concerns regarding shipping charges, please email us at orders@aquatictreatment.com. 

SHIPPING DAMAGES:


When you receive your Aquatic Treatment Systems Water Purification and Filtration System: Please open shipping boxes immediately and check contents. We must be notified of any damage or other problems with your order within five (5) business days of your receipt of the products ordered.  

All products are packaged appropriately and inspected at our manufacturing facility before shipment.  Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc. assumes no responsibility or liability for damage caused to any product during shipment.  

The Buyer should inspect the shipment for damage before signing a delivery release. If the product appears to be damaged, refuse the delivery and make sure the driver notes that the refusal is due to shipping damage.  Do not sign or accept the delivery. By signing the release, you are accepting the goods in their current condition from the carrier, and Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc. is not responsible to issue a refund or replacement.  If you are not sure whether the shipment is damaged and you decide to accept the shipment anyway, then make sure you include a note when you sign the shippers proof-of-delivery slip indicating potential damage.  

If you accept the delivery or if your order was simply dropped off and you did not sign a delivery release and later realize that your order was damaged during shipment, please keep the original shipping cartons and packaging materials and contact the carrier, requesting the pick-up and return to Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc. for replacement.

If the shipment arrives damaged, the Buyer is responsible to file a claim with the carrier.  It is important that you inspect your order upon arrival and report the damage to the carrier immediately to avoid a denial or delay of claim.  All claims for shipping damages must be made within five (5) business days from delivery.  

If the shipment was dropped off at your location and you did not sign a delivery release, Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc. cannot be held liable or responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged goods.  In addition, Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc. cannot be responsible or liable for damage to your property that may have occurred during delivery by shipping company.

WRONG OR INCOMPLETE ORDER:


If we made an error in shipping, please notify Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc. within 5 days of receiving your order.  We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization Number with return instructions on how and where to return the product.  We will ship you the correct product (along with our sincere apology for any inconvenience that our error may have caused you) and Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc. will pay the shipping costs both ways.

 

CANCEL AN ORDER:


Any order may be cancelled or modified at any point prior to it being processed for shipment.  Once an order has been processed for shipment it cannot be cancelled or modified until you receive the product.  Please see return policy below.

 

RETURN POLICY:

Any non-defective, un-opened product may be returned for a 100% refund of the product price if it has been issued a return merchandise authorization number (RMA#) and returned within fifteen (15) days of the ship date.  Contact orders@aquatictreatment.com for assistance. Shipping and handling fees will not be refunded. Any product returned without an RMA number will not be refunded. Refunds will be credited via the same method as the product was purchased. Product refunds will be issued within 20 days of receipt of product if it is received in a "like new" and resellable condition. If not, a partial refund will be issued based on the product's condition. Returned products found to be opened, used, damaged or without an RMA number will not be refunded the purchase price.  

LEGAL:

The Buyer warrants that he/she is 18 years or older and legally able to purchase product from Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc.  Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc. shall not be held responsible for any Buyer non-compliance with any applicable laws.  By purchasing any item from Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc.; whether by mail, telephone or Internet, the Buyer warrants that he/she will comply with his/her State and/or Local regulations and plumbing codes.  The Buyer is responsible for following any state and/or local regulations and plumbing codes pertinent to the purchase, installation and operation of our products.  

Conditions of Sale - Purchase of product from Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc. is an agreement by the Buyer/user to hold all sellers and manufacturers harmless of all liabilities and damages indemnify and agree to defend. The Buyer/user assumes all responsibility for the use of any product sold by Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc.  

Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc. is located in the State of Massachusetts .  As such, the laws of the State of Massachusetts will govern these disclaimers, terms and conditions, without giving effect to any principles of conflict of laws.  Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc. reserves the right to make changes to this site and these terms and conditions, and disclaimers at any time without notice.  This paragraph represents the entire understanding between you (the Buyer) and Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc. regarding your relationship with Aquatic Treatment Systems, Inc.
